The medicinal bed in Brunswick Square

The volunteer gardeners were very busy – all 14 of them – on the first Saturday of April planting herbs and shrubs, to refresh the existing pharmaceutical garden inspired by Lovell’s Herbal. The plants included myrtle, rhubarb and rosemary, to expand the range of plants with medicinal properties in brunswick-gardening.jpg

this area outside the UCL School of Pharmacy, which has  kindly raised some funds to support the new planting.

Volunteers garden on the first Saturday of every month in Brunswick Square from 10 am to 12 noon. Just come along and join them whenever you have time. There are many different jobs to do to keep the square looking great.
