Another hot day in Bloomsbury recently marked the official unveiling of the Queen Square History Board, which is located in the paved area opposite St George’s Church. The Mayor of Camden, Patricia Leman, attended the event to formally dedicate the new history board. Also pictured (L to R) are Professor Dimitri Kullmann of UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology and members of the Queen Square Board steering committee, Alec Forshaw, Sarah Lawson (Head of Queen Square Library) and Ricci de Freitas. The double-sided illustrated board traces the history of this early and famous square, which now in the heart of the medical community and provides a welcome green space for patients, relatives and staff alike.
