The Friends write: Our AGM will be on Thursday 23 March at 7pm at the KCBNA Community Centre in Marchmont Street. Anyone is welcome to join us.

We will have a business meeting first – report on the year, accounts and elections – followed by refreshments and then a guest speaker. When thinking who we might invite to speak we had the idea of getting to know our neighbours better. So we’re very pleased that Dr Carol Homden CBE is able to join us – she is chief executive of the Coram group of children’s charities. We’ve asked her to talk about what Coram does for children today – adoption, fostering, family support – rather than Coram’s history, which we are probably mostly familiar with. Coram does such important work and we ought to know more about it.
