On one of the warmest evenings of the year so far, on the eve of Open Garden Squares Weekend, the Mayor of Camden and other invited guests from the local community and wider gardens world came to a garden party in Bedford Square to mark the inauguration of the Association of Bloomsbury Squares and Gardens, a cooperation between the public and private squares and gardens of Bloomsbury for the benefit of all.
Posters celebrating the squares as ‘Green spaces in the heart of the city’ and carrying the new logo were displayed on the railings of the squares over the Open Garden Squares Weekend.
