This website is run by the Association of Bloomsbury Squares and Gardens (ABSG), a forum for the Friends and other organisations that support or manage the many historic squares and gardens in Bloomsbury. You can contact the Association on bloomsburysquares@talktalk.net

ABSG aims to encourage visitors and residents to appreciate and enjoy this ‘community of squares’ by providing a central point for information and news about the gardens, and any events and activities that are taking place.

If you would like to get involved, you can contact the Association on bloomsburysquares@talktalk.net and contact details for each garden with a Friends group are given on their own page in The Squares section of this site. Contact details for the other gardens are also given.

    Dear Russell Square Management Team,

    Hello!

    I am planning to visit your park with friends this weekend and would like to have a barbecue outdoors. I’d like to inquire about the following details in advance:

    1. Does the park have dedicated BBQ areas?
    2. If yes, are public BBQ facilities (e.g., grills, tables) provided?
    3. If we need to bring our own equipment, are there any specific requirements (e.g., type of equipment, fuel restrictions)?

      I am sorry, BBQs are not allowed in any of Camden’s green spaces at present because of the dry weather and fire risk. You can of course still have a picnic.
