Camden Council are conducting two consultations at the moment which you might like to take part in, if you use the Bloomsbury garden squares.
The first is only open for comment until 26 February so there’s not much time. A public space protection order – PSPO – to address irresponsible dog ownership expires in March and Camden is consulting about whether to extend it for another three years. This would allow action against owners who don’t clear up after their dogs. Details here.
The second consultation is about responsible drinking, with another proposed PSPO. This consultation is open until 18 March. Details here. If implemented, anyone causing alcohol-related anti-social behaviour anywhere in Camden could be issued with a fixed penalty notice of £100 or face prosecution.
Camden’s Parks Department are really keen to hear your views on both these questions so do try to find time to respond to the proposals and make your view known if the subjects matter to you..
