Lots of birdwatching is taking place in the Bloomsbury Squares in the RSPB Big Birdwatch week, as well as that previously announced in our last post. Friends of St George’s Gardens are joining in as a group, offering the opportunity especially for people who don’t have gardens for bird counting. A chance for young children to get involved, too. They are going to be in the Gardens next Sunday, 25 January, from 9 to10 am, with the RSPB’s recording sheets and guides to bird identification. So it will be very easy to join in straight away. Camden Parks Department are encouraging Friends groups to tell them about local bird populations so we’re going to see what flies in. Come and join in. Wrap up warm!
