This summer, we’d like to tempt you to use the open air chess boards in Russell Square by the side of the Caffè. It really is the most marvellous spot – and mostly in the shade! The boards are free to use and the Caffè has chess sets and clocks (for the keen players) all available for free – all you need to do is just ask for them at the ice cream window.
