The Friends of St George’s Gardens AGM is next Thursday 20 March 2025 at 7pm in the Coram Foundation meeting room. It’s easy to find – just go past the School of Pharmacy and the Foundling Museum on the north side of Brunswick Square and through the gate into the Coram campus. The entrance is straight ahead.
After the business meeting, there will be refreshments followed by guest speaker, the always interesting Bob Gilbert. We’ve billed him as ‘author, storyteller and environmental educator’.
Do come if you can and tell neighbours and friends about the meeting. All are welcome. We’ll be talking about the state of the Gardens and the south wall in the business meeting as well as outlining our plans for the rest of 2025.
One more thing. Coram have asked us to tell you about another event, on 28 April 28, 6-8pm:
In Conversation with Hallie Rubenhold, hosted by Madeleine Pelling. This tea-and-talk event at Coram celebrates publication of Hallie Rubenhold’s new book – Story of a Murder: The Wives, The Mistress and Dr Crippen. Hallie is a bestselling and prize-winning historian and author of The Five: The Women Killed by Jack the Ripper. The event will be hosted by cultural historian, author and broadcaster Madeleine Pelling. FoSGG members are invited and you can book your free ticket here.
