Thank you to everyone who sang carols with Friends of St George’s Gardens at Christmas. We raised £400 for the Trussell Trust foodbank charity. Everything that was thrown in the bucket went to the charity, as well as donations which were paid into our bank account. The mulled wine and mince pies were mostly paid for by the profit on the sales of our delightful Christmas card showing Santa visiting the gardens.
